LOS ANGELES, CA (November 28, 2010) – With the end of the Fall 2010 season, Cal South and the Los Angeles Fútbol Circuit wants to recognize those individuals who stood out above the rest. Whether it was a coach or a player, individual awards do not only reflect the success of an individual, but also of the club. With that said, we would like to recognize those individuals who had a major impact throughout the season, whether on defense or offense, these individuals help their club with another successful season.

The first award we would like to present is the Golden Boot award. The Golden Boot is awarded to the individual who produced the most goals throughout the season. These individuals do what it takes to get the ball in the net and drive their team to victory.

The following is a list of the Golden Boot winners by bracket:
GU-9/GU-10 Brianna Cortez (CZ Elite)
BU-9 Topli Petko (Cosmos Academy West Black)
BU-11/BU-12 Justin Islas (Chivas USA Academy)
BU-13 Henry Reyes (Dep Morelos)
BU-14 Jesus Rosas (San Pancho Knights)
BU-15 Steve Martinez (LA Galaxy Youth Academy “A”)
BU-16 Eduardo Delgado (South Hills F.C.)
BU-17 Dagoberto Casain Benitez (Antelope)
BU-19 Everardo Ramirez (GVFC Brazil United)

Where there is a player trying to score, there is a goalkeeper eager to keep the ball out of his net. The Golden Glove award goes to the individual, or team, that allowed the least number of goals throughout the season. These individuals believe that the best offense, is a solid defense.

The following is a list of the Golden Glove winners by bracket:
GU-9/GU-10 Iliana Dominguez (CZ Elite)
BU-9 South Bay Force
BU-10 Cosmos Academy West 01
BU-11 Ismael Arellano Jr (Cosmos Academy West 00)

The final award goes to the tactician of the team. The Coach of the Year award goes to the one coach who stood out above the rest. This coach demonstrated discipline, patience, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. With a league unbeaten record of 7-2-0, this coach took his team to their first Los Angeles Fútbol Circuit title. Cal South and the Los Angeles Fútbol Circuit is proud to present the Coach of the year award to
